The Punch Kettlebell Gym on Main Avenue in Norwalk will host the 5th annual Battle of the Belles strong woman competition to raise money for the Carl & Dorothy Bennett Cancer Center in Stamford this Sunday.
The event will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the parking lot of the gym at 345 Main Ave., the gym’s head trainer and co-owner Stephanie Tropea said.
Tropea said this Sunday, 70 women will compete in the contest which in past years has included lifting weighted barbells, pushing a Jeep Wrangler across the parking lot and flip 300-pound tires.
“It’s huge and we’re raising thousands of dollars for the Bennett Cancer Center,” Tropea said.
